Deel, a payroll platform for remote workers, has completed a $ 14 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz CNBC. As part of the investment, Andreessen’s general partner Anish Acharya joins the board of directors of the San Francisco-based company.
According to Dan Westgarth, Deel’s chief operating officer, the round was conducted entirely with video conferencing tools.
