iRobot in the proxy battle win the shareholders



After a controversial proxy battle between Bedford robotics company iRobot and investor Red Mountain, a majority of shareholders voted for iRobot on Wednesday to elect two board members for a three-year term.

The election of Mohamad Ali, CEO of Boston cloud backup company Carbonite, and Michael Bell, technology veteran and former CEO of Apple Inc. and Intel Corp., prevented Red Mountain from gaining more influence over iRobot.
