Third of UK customers willing to trust technology companies with bank accounts


Just under a third of adults in the UK would like to transfer access to their financial data to “trusted” tech companies like Apple, Google or third party apps that use such platforms. This is what a study found.

Research by the Prepaid International Forum (PIF), a trade organization that represents the prepaid financial services sector, was published in the UK following the launch of Open Banking in January this year.
